Arsenal had a famous face in attendance at the Emirates Stadium as they took on Ipswich Town on Friday night.
Arsenal were not at their best in this Premier League clash, but were still relatively untroubled at the back as they secured a 1-0 win, thanks to a first half Kai Havertz goal.
Mikel Arteta’s side had to cope without the injured Bukayo Saka, and the Gunners’ play was far from inspired, but ultimately they got the job done and three more vital points on the board.
Myles Lewis-Skelly caught the eye at left-back, and there were flashes of quality from the likes of Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice, but ultimately the match had little to offer a neutral spectator.

Arsenal fans slam John Legend interview
Pop star John Legend, and his wife Chrissy Teigen, were in attendance at the Emirates Stadium for this match, with the singer confessing that he had opted to support the North London club for the evening whilst his family are in the UK for the festive period.
This match was his first taste of Premier League football, and speaking to Amazon Prime Video after the final whistle, he even gave an impromptu rendition of the Gunners’ anthem, ‘North London Forever.’
However, many Arsenal fans on X felt that the interview was a difficult and embarrassing watch.
One said: “I’m sorry @primevideosport but after all that amazing coverage the last 2 days, you had to ruin it with that cringe with John legend.”
Another claimed: “Please this john legend interview is killing me he’s even saying he has no clue and she’s still talking.”
One stated: “Get John legend off my screen.”
One Arsenal supporter added: “This John Legend interview is fantastic car crash material.”
Another chipped in with: “Anybody watching the cringe fest on Prime… John Legend and his employee in London to watch the Arsenal, you can’t buy class can you.”
One urged: “Get John Legend and his wife out of the Emirates stadium NOW.”
Famous Arsenal fans
Whilst clearly Legend isn’t a die-hard Arsenal supporter, the North London club do have plenty of famous fans.
Tom Hiddlestone has been spotted with Arsenal legend David Seaman in attendance at a game before.
He is not the only Hollywood star to support Arteta’s side, either. Anne Hathaway went viral after celebrating a Leandro Trossard strike last season.
There are many famous Arsenal fans, underlining the clubs global appeal. Perhaps not all of them should be interviewed pitch-side at the Emirates, though.
