Gabriel was quite possibly the best player in the final, as he has been for most of the season, so it was unfortunate to see him miss.
Meanwhile, Eze has produced some huge moments in front of the goal for the Gunners, and it was so painful to see the duo miss.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Rice said: “Yeah, obviously devastated. To miss a penalty in the Champions League final is not nice, but we love them, and we are with them.

“Look, that happens in football, they’re not going to be the last players to miss penalties in finals, everyone’s missed a penalty.
“Without these two this season, we wouldn’t have won the Premier League, that’s for sure.
“Gabriel, I have run out of words for him as a person and a player, and for Eze as well, for the crucial goals he’s come up with for us this year.
“It happens, it’s football, and it’s cruel, but look, we take the positives, and we keep going.”
Losing on penalties is such a cruel way for Arsenal to finish such an impressive Champions League campaign, but next season, Mikel Arteta’s team will be back.
