Arsenal starlet Ethan Nwaneri just keeps getting better and better, and he impressed yet again against Preston North End.
Nwaneri was handed another first-team start as Mikel Arteta made several changes for Arsenal’s EFL Cup clash with Preston.
Having scored two goals in the third round against Bolton, Nwaneri picked up where he left off, and netted an outrageous long-range effort to double Arsenal’s lead in the first half.
This goal was a significant one for Nwaneri for a number of reasons, and it now means that he has broken an all-time Arsenal record.

The earlier stages of the game saw Nwaneri place one shot over the bar, before hitting a tame shot straight at the goalkeeper from close range.
However, he recovered instantly, picking up the ball from around 25 yards out, before slamming it into the top corner with a left-footed curler.
This sensational goal made it three goals from two starts, and it also meant that Nwaneri became the youngest-ever player to score in each of his first two Arsenal starts.
Arsenal have had a lot of talented wonderkids over the years, but even Cesc Fabregas and Jack Wilshere could not manage this feat, which Nwaneri has just accomplished.
Ethan Nwaneri scores in first two Arsenal starts
Not many players have scored in both of their first two Arsenal starts, but Nwaneri has not only done it, but done it in style at a young age.
Fabregas did not score until his second start for the club, also in the EFL Cup in a victory over Wolves in December 2003.
Wilshere did score on his Arsenal debut against Sheffield United in September 2008, but did not score again in his first few appearances with the first-team.
Nwaneri will now hope to be given chances in the Premier League to continue his fine form, with the youngster one of the most exciting talents to come through the academy in a long time.
