Arsenal recorded a superb 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, and the best moment came in the final minutes of the game.
Bukayo Saka and Thomas Partey both scored outstanding goals to give Arsenal a comfortable lead, before Ethan Nwaneri came off the bench to score the third.
The teenager’s goal was particularly significant, as it was his first in the Premier League, and Mikel Arteta praised Nwaneri after the game.
Nwaneri is emerging as one of the best young talents the Hale End Academy has produced in a long time, and he has now made Arsenal history after his goal against Forest.

Ethan Nwaneri becomes Arsenal’s second-youngest Premier League goalscorer
Nwaneri’s goal has now meant he is Arsenal’s second-youngest Premier League scorer in history, with Cesc Fabregas the only player to score in the competition for the Gunners at a younger age than him.
Fabregas scored against Blackburn Rovers in August 2004, at the age of 17 years and 113 days. This means that the Spaniard still retains his Arsenal record.
Nwaneri’s goal against Forest came with the youngster 17 years and 247 days old, making him a few months older than Fabregas was at the time of his first strike.
However, no other former Arsenal youngster can match Nwaneri and Fabregas in being the only 17-year-olds to ever score for Arsenal in the Premier League, and the Hale End sensation has overtaken some big names in the record books.
Arsenal’s youngest-ever Premier League goalscorers
Nwaneri has overtaken Serge Gnabry to take second spot, with the German winger’s goal against Swansea in September 2013 coming when he was 18.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gabriel Martinelli were also both 18 years and five months old when they netted for the first time in the top-flight, with Aaron Ramsey and Nicolas Anelka scoring when 18 and seven months.
Some incredible young talents have come through the academy at Arsenal, and Nwaneri may have the potential to match or even outdo them if he continues to deliver outstanding performances.
