Arsenal returned to action in the Champions League, facing Inter Milan on match day four at the San Siro.
A blockbuster clash was handed to Mikel Arteta’s side in Europe, giving the Gunners a challenge in their search for form.
Arsenal are without a win in their previous three Premier League matches, emphasising the need to level up in Milan.
The visitors headed to the San Siro with a clear objective to win, with plenty to put right as a result of recent performances.

Arsenal fans fume at Leandro Trossard vs Inter Milan
Simone Inzaghi’s side had a surprise for the Gunners in the opening minutes of the fixture, testing David Raya several times before the game could settle.
Pressure was piled on the visitors to get organised fast, something that one player in particular struggled with.
On X, fans made their opinions on Leandro Trossard known, spotting the Belgian’s lack of quality from the off at the San Siro.
“Trossard hasn’t done anything good in weeks,” one supporter said, which was an opinion shared by many who questioned Arteta’s decision to start the forward.
One Arsenal follower asked, “How does a manager watch those Trossard performances over the past 3 weeks and keep starting him?”
The Belgium international has been in particularly poor form in recent weeks, finding great difficulty in filling the void left by Martin Odegaard.
In the opening moments against Inter, Trossard’s poor fortune continued with several bad touches and poor decisions.
“Trossard should not be anywhere near our starting 11,” a supporter said, to which another agreed, “I don’t want to see Trossard starting for my club again.”
Many supporters shared the viewpoint that Trossard is best when coming off the bench, making Arteta’s trust in the player puzzling amid a dire patch of form.
“How many chances will Mikel give Trossard???” A loyal fan asked.
Just minutes into the game, one fan had seen enough, dubbing the Belgian an ‘excruciating’ player to watch.
“Trossard in tight spaces is an excruciating watch,” they said, as another added, “Trossard is an impact player, nothing more.”
Trossard’s chance to impress is running out
Questioning Arteta’s decision to field Trossard despite a string of bad performances is valid, as are the manager’s reasons for calling on the forward.
A player with experience and versatility would capture Arteta’s eye however, change has been needed for some time and sadly, Trossard has been one switch fans are pleading to see.
For the sake of the Gunners, and of course the player, there’s hope that the 29-year-old can find his past form, with his start at the San Siro far from convincing.
