Arsenal picked up an impressive 3-0 win over Sunderland in the Premier League.

The Gunners were the favourites to win the game, and despite a difficult start, they managed to blow the Black Cats away with a fine performance.

Martin Zubimendi scored a brilliant opener, and Viktor Gyokeres then got two goals in the second half to seal a very convincing win.

The goal scorers will get all the plaudits, but another player was outstanding on Saturday as well – Leandro Trossard.

Who was your Arsenal Man of the Match vs Sunderland? Tell us why!

Leandro Trossard showed why he’s Arsenal’s most underrated player vs Sunderland

When you’re talking about Arsenal’s biggest stars, Trossard’s name never comes up.

The likes of Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are viewed as the big names at the Emirates, but the Belgian deserves a lot of credit too.

Since joining the Gunners in January 2023, Trossard has come up with several unbelievable performances in the famous red and white.

Against Sunderland, the Belgian was excellent once again.

Trossard got on the ball regularly from the start of the game and tried to have an impact. He was too much for Trai Hume to handle on the left flank.

Trossard, who was hailed as ‘fantastic‘ by Roberto De Zerbi in the past, created four chances against the Black Cats and got the assist for Zubimendi’s strike in the first half.

The former Brighton star’s performance at the Emirates showed once again why he is Arsenal’s most underrated player.

Leandro Trossard injury concern for Arsenal

Trossard worked tirelessly all game against Sunderland.

He was involved with almost everything in Arsenal’s attack, and he was absolutely knackered in the end.

In the final moments of the game, Trossard went down off the ball. He was immediately replaced by Christian Norgaard and was spotted limping off the pitch.

Mikel Arteta and then Albert Stuivenberg both came over to the Belgian to find out what happened. He covered his mouth and whispered something to both his coaches before slowly making his way to the bench.

We hope that Trossard was just tired and needed rest. Nevertheless, seeing him limp off the pitch is a concern, considering all the injuries Arsenal have had this season.
