Arsenal have the lead in their crucial game against Burnley at The Emirates tonight and it could have been even better had a penalty been awarded for a ‘foul’ on Bukayo Saka.
Saka looked on course to tap home when Kai Havertz pulled the ball across the six yard box.
However, the England international stumbled as he miskicked his finish and on second glance, it looked he might have been clipped by the Burnley defender.
Nevertheless, VAR looked at the on-field call and decided not to change their mind as the tangle of legs proved inconclusive.
And according to Gary Neville, it was the correct call.

VAR has played such a massive part this season that it looked like we were going to get another big call.
However, this time, things went away in relatively calm fashion and according to Gary Neville, there simply wasn’t enough in it to overturn the decision.
“It’s one of them, I can’t tell if it is or not. Saka kind of kicks the back of the defender as well as he goes to shoot,” Neville said.
“I think it’s the correct decision on the basis that I look at it and I can’t figure out if its a penalty myself, from a full-backs point of view, rather than an attacker’s point of view.”

With Saka once again the best player on the field for Arsenal, it was no surprise that he was involved in the big moment prior to the goal.
In the end, Kai Havertz has the goal and has taken the pressure off for now.
