Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has been the talk of the town lately.

The Englishman first made the news for playing as an attacking midfielder in the FA Cup. Then, news broke that Saka had signed a new contract at the Emirates.

That deal was officially announced by Arsenal on Thursday, a day after their 2-2 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

Right after that game, Saka spoke to the media about the result, and Glenn Hoddle was not a fan of his attitude.

Who was Arsenal’s worst player vs Wolves?

Glenn Hoddle blasts Bukayo Saka’s ‘demeanour’ in an interview after Arsenal’s draw with Wolves

Bukayo Saka was the Arsenal captain for the game against Wolves on Wednesday night.

The Hale End star donned the armband due to Martin Odegaard’s unavailability, and he made an immediate impact with a goal inside five minutes.

Saka did well in his new attacking midfield role, but his performance was not enough for Arsenal to secure all three points.

After the game, like a good leader, Saka stepped up for media duties. He said to Sky Sports about the draw: “It’s very flat. I’m very disappointed with the result and especially how we played in the second half; it’s far from the level that we’ve set this season.

“It’s time for us to reflect on the few performances and just fix the issues immediately so we can get back to winning games and going on a run and build momentum because we’ve lost that a bit right now.”

Tottenham legend Hoddle was not impressed by Saka’s attitude in that interview. He said on Premier League Productions: “That’s interesting, that, because he was the skipper tonight.

“For me, he was very honest, very honest there, saying they need to do better… blah blah blah.

“But his demeanour for me was not right. Your demeanour needs to be a little bit more up. He was very flat, very flat.”

Bukayo Saka’s interview after Arsenal’s draw does not matter

It’s completely normal for Saka to be disappointed after seeing his side blow a two-goal lead against the bottom-placed side in the Premier League.

It wasn’t just the result individually but also its implications on the title race that led to such dejection post-game from the Arsenal star.

Saka was honest with his assessment after the game, and he made it clear that he and his teammates need to right the wrongs immediately.

Hoddle wanted the Arsenal skipper on the day to be more upbeat, but that’s not easy for anyone after a poor result.

We have no problem with Saka’s attitude in that interview, and we’re sure that it will have no negative effect on any of his teammates either.
