Arsenal got over the line against Burnley thanks to a Kai Havertz goal and they are now just one game away from securing the Premier League title.
Havertz rose highest to head home from a corner from Bukayo Saka as he underlined Mikel Arteta’s faith in him in the starting XI.
The Gunners could well be champions tomorrow if Man City fail to win against Bournemouth but for now, the champagne is on ice until it’s all sealed.
Of course, seeing Havertz score gives Arteta a welcome headache ahead of the final game and the Champions League final and according to Jamie Carragher, Havertz’s winner was like watching Cristiano Ronaldo.
How do you feel about the idea that Arsenal are going to be ‘bad champions’?
It hasn't been pretty at times, but do you give a hoot?
Kai Havertz compared to Cristiano Ronaldo after scoring against Burnley
To be fair, it was a good job Havertz got the winning goal as his performance overall was hardly one to write home about.
However, it was a fine header and according to Carragher, it was Ronaldo-esque.
“It’s Ronaldo like, you think of him at Manchester United or Real Madrid. Just that little run and the leap is fantastic,” Carragher said on Sky Sports.
“That leap is absolutely fantastic, like I say, it reminded me of Cristiano Ronaldo all those years ago.”
Mikel Arteta has a huge call to make up front
Viktor Gyokeres will have been disappointed not to start tonight and when he came on, Arsenal did carry a more direct threat.
Havertz got his goal in a big moment but like so many other games this season, his actual play on the whole was poor.

Now, Mikel Arteta has some huge decisions to make for two of the biggest games of his life.
Going to Crystal Palace is no easy task and Arteta will need to assess just who is best placed to get him the goal that will seal the title.
As for the game with PSG, surely that lends itself more to Gyokeres and his intense nature rather than Havertz dropping deep.
Either way, Arteta has to get it right. It really is make or break.
