Arsenal showed their pedigree in the Premier League again after their 3-0 win against Fulham on Saturday.
The Gunners have had a bit of a dip in recent times, but on Saturday they were back to their very best again.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Jamie Redknapp was full of praise for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Jamie Redknapp singled out Eberechi Eze after Arsenal’s performance against Fulham, describing the midfielder as “exceptional” in a display that underlined his growing importance to the team.

Arsenal controlled the game from early on, and Redknapp pointed to the conditions that helped them take charge.
“When I saw Sander Berge not playing, I thought that gave Arsenal a great chance because he’s got a real presence in there, but you’ve still got to capitalise on it,” Redknapp said.
“Arsenal looked like the team that were fresh and Fulham looked like the team that had gone to Atletico Madrid for a European night.”
“I thought Arsenal picked the right team, started well, and the right players got into the game very quickly.”
“Eze was exceptional, Saka gave a lovely 45-minute cameo, and Gyokeres played his best half of football.”
Eze’s performance was built on confidence and clarity. He demanded the ball, drove forward, and consistently looked to create. Whether carrying possession through midfield or linking play in the final third, he gave Arsenal a level of control and creativity that Fulham struggled to deal with.
It’s good to see Eze getting his due praise here, because with Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyokeres playing so well, they’re the players who are getting most of the attention.
However, it mustn’t be forgotten just how good Eze was on Saturday evening, and these types of performances are what will potentially drive Arsenal towards the Premier League title.
Between Eze and Gyokeres, it may be Arsenal’s summer signings that make the difference towards the business-end of this season.
