John Terry absolutely humiliated himself during Arsenal vs Chelsea and it’s all been caught on camera

Arsenal have reached the final of the Carabao Cup after beating Chelsea home and away in the semi-finals.

It was a strange game at the Emirates on Tuesday night. The Blues were a goal down from the first leg, but they showed no real interest in attacking Mikel Arteta’s side.

The Gunners didn’t fall into the trap of overcommitting for no reason and then being caught, so it was a comfortable game in the end.

What made it better was Kai Havertz scoring against his former side again, and nobody would have hated it more than John Terry, who filmed himself at that exact moment.

John Terry left embarrassed as Kai Havertz scored the winner for Arsenal vs Chelsea

Terry has been very active on social media lately.

The Chelsea legend was at home, watching his old side take on Arsenal in the semi-final of the Carabao Cup, and strangely, he seemed happy with the Blues’ performance.

In fact, Terry probably even thought that Chelsea would win the game late on, so he pulled his phone out to record that very moment.

However, in a hilarious turn of events, it was Havertz who scored for Arsenal in the final moments of the game, and that sealed a win for the Gunners.

“Just over a minute to go, we need a goal,” Terry can be heard saying at the start of the video. “Not a bad performance,” he added.

“Come on, boys, last chance, last chance,” he said as Chelsea went forward, but they lost the ball and Leandro Trossard passed it to Declan Rice, who sent Havertz through on goal.

“Offside! He’s offside anyway,” Terry said as he watched the German go around Robert Sanchez and coolly slot the ball in the back of the net.

“That’s the end of our cup run,” he admitted before adding: “Not a bad performance from us, but didn’t really look like scoring all night, to be honest.”

You can watch the whole video on Terry’s TikTok.

Kai Havertz scored Arsenal’s first 90th minute match-winner in a 1-0 result since 2017, who scored the last?

Clue: It last happened against Burnley in the 2017/18 season.

Here’s how some of them reacted to it on social media…

One Arsenal fan wrote: “Thought Kai Havertz scoring would be the best thing I watch tonight, but here’s John Terry recording himself thinking Chelsea will score, only for Kai to win it. In his full Chelsea tracksuit ahaahhahahahaha.”

Another said: “I would’ve paid £100 to have him make that video. He gave it to us for free.”

“John Terry just made my day. Recording himself, hoping for a moment, and boom – Chelsea concede,” tweeted another.
