Just three games remain for Arsenal in the 2024/25 Premier League season, with Mikel Arteta looking to end the campaign in style.

It’s been a frustrating year for the Gunners, with their Champions League campaign ending at the hands of PSG in midweek, ending any hope of securing silverware.

Qualification for the top five is still up for grabs, with Arsenal able to seal that with a win over Liverpool.

Liverpool have already been crowned champions, but will be keen to show their rivals exactly why they are so far out in first.

So, with a huge match at Anfield coming up, here’s a look at everything you need to know ahead of Liverpool vs Arsenal in the Premier League.

Will Arsenal do a guard of honour for Liverpool’s Premier League title win?

With Arsenal losing out on the Premier League title to Liverpool, there is the possibility of the Gunners performing a guard of honour for the new champions at Anfield.

Chelsea performed one for the Reds at Stamford Bridge last time out, in the Reds’ first game since being crowned champions.

The Premier League rules don’t state that a team must perform a guard of honour for the opposition, but Arsenal have previously done so for their rivals.

Arsenal injuries and team news

Arsenal have some injury boosts, with returns for Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber in midweek against PSG.

There are absences for Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Jesus, and Takehiro Tomiyasu, who will all be out for the rest of the season.

Jorginho is an injury doubt, with the star featuring on the bench against PSG, but largely in a coaching role rather than as a player.

Kai Havertz’s hamstring injury has kept him out for a few months, but he is closing in on a surprise return before the end of the campaign.

Liverpool team news and injuries

Liverpool only have one notable absence in the team, with Joe Gomez sidelined, with the possibility of a return before the end of the season.
