Jack Wilshere – Bournemouth
The England midfielder played the final 20 minutes against Southampton at the weekend but, was unable to help his side take anything more than a point. He had more than 70% pass accuracy with 16 total touches.
Wojciech Szczesny – Roma
Saturday saw Szczesny keep his 13th clean sheet of the season during the 2-0 win over Empoli. He has shown excellent form all season for a side that are challenging at the top of one of Europe’s most competitive leagues.
Daniel Crowley – Go Ahead Eagles
Crowley came off with two minutes remaining in his side’s 2-1 away win against FC Twente. Although the midfielder did not create much he did have the most touches of any midfielder or forward in his team. He also completed more that 78% of his passes. It was the second win in a row for the team and they have moved off the bottom of the Eredivisie.
Jon Toral – Rangers
Toral played the full game during Rangers 1-1 draw at home to Motherwell where they came from behind to rescue a point. Fans are yet to warm to the young midfielder, but at the moment he is getting game time which should help him develop.
Krystian Bielik – Birmingham
Bielik played the full game of the 1-1 draw with Ipswich. He put in a good defensive display but was booked for a professional foul.
Chuba Akpom – Brighton
Akpom started a game for the first time this season but was replaced after 60 minutes. He had little impact during his time on the field but Brighton did win the game 1-0.
Gedion Zelalem – VVV-Venlo
Zelalem came on in the 76th minute with his side already 3-0 down at home to NAC Breda. The game would eventually finish 4-0 to the away side. Zelalem has scored once this season.
Matt Macey – Luton Town
Macey played the full game and kept a clean sheet in the 1-0 win against Blackpool.
Takuma Asano (VfB Stuttgart) was an unused substitute.
Calum Chambers (Middlesbrough) is still out with an injury and missed the 0-0 draw with Swansea, their first clean sheet during his absence.
