Arsenal have some injury concerns going into the game against Sunderland.
The Gunners will look to get their revenge on the Black Cats after they held them to a 2-2 draw in the Premier League at the Stadium of Light back in November.
However, ahead of the game, three Arsenal players missed training – Bukayo Saka, skipper Martin Odegaard and Jurrien Timber.
Mikel Arteta was asked about them in his pre-match press conference.

Mikel Arteta shares Arsenal injury updates on Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Jurrien Timber
Injuries have constantly troubled Arsenal since the start of the season.
Arteta hasn’t had a fully fit squad available for a single game this term, which has made things difficult for him at times.
However, the Gunners deserve immense credit for leading the Premier League and Champions League tables despite all their injury issues.
Looking ahead to Saturday, Arsenal fans have been waiting for an update on Saka, Odegaard and Timber after they missed training.
On the Gunners’ number seven, Arteta said in his press conference, as per Football London: “His hip is much better, and hopefully, very soon, he will be with us.”
Speaking about the other two, the Arsenal manager added: “Martin will be a matter of days, and Jurrien is fine.”

Arsenal should not risk anyone against Sunderland
Arsenal’s clash against Sunderland is of massive importance.
The Gunners can go nine points clear of Manchester City with a win, and that could make a huge difference as Pep Guardiola’s side are scheduled to face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Arteta would ideally like to have his best team out there at the Emirates, but the Arsenal boss should not take any risks.
If there is even a small chance that Saka, Odegaard and Timber could worsen their issues by playing, they should be left out of the squad.
Arsenal have enough depth to beat Sunderland without those three players.
