Arsenal are through to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup thanks to their 2-0 win over Port Vale.
Mikel Arteta made a total of nine changes for the clash at Vale Park, but the Gunners were still able to field a very strong lineup.
Eberechi Eze was the star of the show. He opened the scoring very early in the game and played really well in a more central role.
However, Arteta feels he could’ve done a lot more.

Eze started as a left-sided number eight for Arsenal against Port Vale.
The Englishman impressed in a central role when he came on for Mikel Merino against Manchester City at the weekend. He assisted Gabriel Martinelli’s equaliser in that game.
On Wednesday night, Eze scored his first-ever goal for Arsenal to give Arteta’s side the lead in their Carabao Cup clash.
The former Crystal Palace star didn’t have as much space as he would’ve liked, but he still managed to impress in the central areas.
Arteta was very happy with his summer signing’s display, but he claimed that Eze should’ve scored two more goals after his first.
He told Sky Sports: “That’s what he is here for – to win football matches, and to generate the impact especially in the last 25-30 metres with the creativity and the threat that he has.
“He should’ve scored another two, I think.”
Eberechi Eze could do something that he has never done before when Arsenal face Newcastle
Arsenal’s tough run of fixtures continues as the Gunners take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park next.
Arteta’s side faced the Magpies four times last season – twice in the Premier League and two more times in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Arsenal ended up losing three of those four games, and we’re sure Arteta would love to get some revenge on Sunday.
Eze has faced Newcastle seven times in the past when he was at Crystal Palace. He has never scored against them in his career before.
That could change if Arteta starts him in a central role again on Sunday.
