Viktor Gyokeres scored and played a big part in Arsenal beating Kairat Almaty but the striker has been advised to be very much annoyed with one of his teammates as well.
Gyokeres looked assured alongside a returning Kai Havertz at the top of the pitch for Arsenal and got himself a fine goal in the opening 45 minutes.
It could have been more as well, with Gyokeres blazing a huge chance over the bar from inside the six yard box, and seeing countless other good opportunities go to waste courtesy of teammates.
Who do you want Arsenal to face next in the Champions League?
Indeed, Gyokeres probably should have had his second when he got on the end of Havertz’s ball for the third goal, which Gabi Martinelli tapped in.
And it was from this goal that Sky Sports’ Kris Boyd suggested Gyokeres should be enraged.
Viktor Gyokeres told he should be fuming with Gabriel Martinelli
All good strikers and attacking players want to be scoring goals and in fairness, it was good to see Gyokeres and Martinelli both in position to score the third.

Gyokeres did get a touch to the ball as Havertz laid it across but Martinelli ensured it went in, despite the ball obviously going into the bottom corner anyway.
However, while Mikel Arteta won’t care who scored, Kris Boyd suggested Gyokeres should care.
“If I am Gyokeres, I am fuming that someone stole my goal,” Boyd suggested on Sky Sports.
Viktor Gyokeres looked much improved
Boyd’s comments here are a fair enough assessment for a striker looking for goals but ultimately, Arsenal are very much a team first club right now.
Sure, Gyokeres netting twice would have looked good for his stats and given him another boost but it’s also a boost for Martinelli, who has been in dire goal-scoring form himself in the league.
You pick: ________ should start in the number ten vs Leeds… 👀
The key from tonight was that Arsenal’s big striker looked far better with Kai Havertz on the field.
If it’s a sign of things to come for the Gunners, it could well feel like a fresh start in terms of attacking output.
