Arsenal suffered a painful 2-1 defeat to Manchester City, but the performance told a very different story.

Mikel Arteta’s men were far better than they have been in recent weeks and created several big chances at the Etihad that they should’ve taken.

However, the reality is that they have lost the game, and that has led to many people saying that Manchester City will win the Premier League title now.

Declan Rice thinks otherwise, and he made that clear to the Arsenal players after the game.

Who was the most disappointing performer for Arsenal vs Man City

Declan Rice tells Arsenal teammates ‘it’s not done’ after Man City defeat

Rice is one of Arsenal’s biggest leaders.

The Englishman had a good game in the middle of the park against Manchester City, but he just couldn’t drag the Gunners over the line.

We’re sure Rice is disappointed about losing, but it looks like his belief in winning the Premier League title is still sky high.

After the final whistle, the former West Ham man was seen speaking to his teammates and delivering a simple but powerful message.

According to Tom Canton on X, the Arsenal midfielder told the players: “It’s not done”.

Despite what is being said by pundits and rival fans, Rice is absolutely right, and the Premier League table shows that.

Manchester City may have the momentum, but mathematically, the Gunners still control their own destiny. If they win all of their remaining games, Pep Guardiola’s side can only match their points total.

That means the title could come down to goal difference, where Arsenal currently hold a slight advantage.

Rice’s message is exactly what the team needs to hear right now – the situation is difficult, but it is far from over.

Arsenal’s biggest problem was once again evident vs Man City

Arsenal have a lot of positives to take from the defeat against Manchester City.

The Gunners didn’t sit back and play for a draw like many predicted; they went for a win, pressed high and even came close to scoring on multiple occasions.

There were at least three big opportunities that should have been converted, but unfortunately, none of them was.

This has been a problem under Arteta for a while now. Arsenal often dominate games and create openings, but they do not take advantage of that by finding the back of the net.

If the Gunners want to win the title, this has to change in the final five games of the season.
