Arsenal picked up a great win over Inter Milan despite resting several key players.
The Gunners have the best squad in the Premier League and perhaps even in Europe. They have at least two top-class players in every single position.
That squad depth was on display at the San Siro as Mikel Arteta made seven changes to his side from the game against Nottingham Forest.
Despite that, Arsenal beat Inter Milan quite comfortably, thus making Jamie Carragher’s pre-game prediction look silly.

Jamie Carragher’s Inter Milan vs Arsenal prediction backfired
Carragher has said a lot of things about Arsenal that have been proved wrong.
The Liverpool legend is one of the biggest pundits in England, and everything he says makes the headlines.
However, Arsenal fans will tell you that he is more wrong than right, and that was once again the case on Tuesday night.
Just before the Gunners stepped onto the pitch to face Inter Milan, Carragher was asked about the game on CBS Sports.

He said: “I think Inter Milan will beat Arsenal.
“I just look at the lineup, listen, it’s certainly not Arsenal’s strongest. They are on top of this table now, they have got a big game at the weekend against Manchester United.
“When I look at the team of Inter Milan, I think Arsenal will do well to get a result here tonight.”
That prediction backfired as Arsenal managed to beat Inter 3-1 without even needing to get out of second gear in the Champions League.
If you could make one pundit stop talking about Arsenal, who would you choose and why?
Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher or someone else?
Arsenal are not receiving enough praise for what they did against Inter Milan
Arsenal have been so good this season that a 3-1 win over Inter Milan is being treated as a formality.
The Nerazzurri are the best team in Italy right now and are currently on top of the Serie A table. They have a terrifying strike force of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, who are capable of scoring against any side.
However, Arsenal managed to handle them without any trouble, and they did that with the likes of Gabriel Magalhaes, Declan Rice, and Martin Odegaard starting the game on the bench.
The fact that the North Londoners made light work of the best team in Italy, without many key players starting, is just outrageous.
Arteta should be getting a lot more credit for that.
