The Premier League have announced that the referee taking charge of Leicester City v Arsenal this weekend will Sam Barrott.

It will be the 18th time Barrott has officiated a Premier League game this season, having also been the referee for matches in the Championship, Carabao Cup and FA Cup.

In his career so far, Sam Barrott has officiated Arsenal on four occasions in the league and once in a pre-season friendly against Bayer Leverkusen.

Arsenal currently boast a 100% record with Barrott officiating having picked up five wins out of five and will be hoping to continue that trend.

In those matches, Arsenal received four yellow cards with no penalty kicks awarded and no red cards received.

Barrott is a controversial choice for Leicester fans as he should have sent off Riccardo Calafiori in the return fixture when the game was at 2-2.
