Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was asked by ESPN FC to describe every one of his teammates using just one word, and some of his answers are hilarious.

The Englishman joined us from Sheffield United at the start of last season. Nobody really expected him to displace Bernd Leno, but he did that in just the fourth game of the campaign and hasn’t looked back since.

Ramsdale is a fan favourite at Arsenal now – we all love him!

Aaron Ramsdale describes every Arsenal teammate using just one word

Aaron Ramsdale‘s performances on the pitch are what make him one of the best goalkeepers in the country, but his banter off it has made Arsenal fans fall in love with him.

The Englishman is one of the funniest players in Arsenal’s squad at the moment. He’s a great lad to have around the dressing room, and his one-word description of his teammates will surely make you laugh.

When asked to describe his good pal Ben White using just one word, Ramsdale said ‘tan,’ making fun of how the defender looked a few months ago.

Ramsdale didn’t just stop there, after branding Kieran Tierney as ‘hard as nails’ and Takehiro Tomiyasu as ‘humble’, he was asked about Gabriel Magalhaes. His hilarious response was ‘teeth,’ probably suggesting how the Brazilian sometimes loses his tooth on the pitch and ends up searching for it after the game.

Bukayo Saka was described as a ‘starboy’, Gabriel Martinelli as ‘electric’ and Eddie Nketiah as ‘my skipper,’ but his actual captain, Martin Odegaard, was called ‘El Parchio’. For the unversed, that’s a term Peter Crouch uses to describe someone who’s sort of a teacher’s pet.

Watch what Ramsdale had to say about the rest of his Arsenal teammates below.
