But on the night they were crowned champions following City’s 1-1 draw with Bournemouth, Smith has given his reaction to the title win.

Alan Smith says he is ‘absolutely delighted’ to see Arsenal become Premier League champions for the first time in 22 years.
Following the full-time whistle at Bournemouth, Smith told Sky Sports: “Absolutely delighted. Congratulations to Mikel Arteta and his players, and the club as a whole. It’s been a long, long wait, deserving champions.
“Manchester City did not have enough to do it towards the end of the season as a whole, but Bournemouth had a monumental performance to deny Pep Guardiola.”

But now, all eyes will be on the Champions League final in just under two weeks, where the Gunners could complete a historic treble.
