Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been discussing his time at Arsenal and has just named the player he most enjoyed playing with at the Emirates Stadium.
The 32-year-old played 198 times for the Gunners across seven seasons in North London and played with some exceptional stars during that period.
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s £35m move to Liverpool actually remains Arsenal’s biggest ever sale, and he went on to achieve big things at Anfield.
At the Emirates Stadium, the versatile midfielder was well-liked by supporters, and there would have been a twinge of disappointment to see him leave.
The former Southampton star has just opened up on his time in North London and discussed his favourite players from his time with the Gunners.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain loved playing with Santi Cazorla
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has explained that Santi Cazorla was his favourite player to play alongside at Arsenal.
The 32-year-old has picked the Spanish midfielder ahead of players like Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud, who were all incredible for Arsenal.
Oxlade-Chamberlain noted that ‘maybe Mesut (Ozil)’ would be the other player he would say, but number one for him was Cazorla.
When asked about his favourite Arsenal teammate, Oxlade-Chamberlain told Fozcast: “Who I would enjoy playing with the most, I’d say Santi Cazorla. I put him as number one for me in a lot of these conversations. Yeah. Santi Cazorla, maybe a Mesut.”
Cazorla, who was also loved by Giroud, had his time at Arsenal blighted by injuries, meaning he struggled to reach his full potential.
But that didn’t stop him from impressing in red, as he managed 29 goals and 44 assists in 180 appearances.
But eventually, in 2018, Arsenal released Cazorla, and he has since gone on to play in La Liga for Villarreal and Real Oviedo.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s record playing with Santi Cazorla at Arsenal
Oxlade-Chamberlain managed to play 105 times with Cazorla at Arsenal, with 62 of those games being wins and just 22 defeats.
Together, the pair combined for three goals, which came against Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.

Oxlade-Chamberlain and Cazorla both spent the majority of their time at Arsenal playing under the legendary Arsene Wenger.
