Manchester United star Amad Diallo has his sights set on completing a career first against Arsenal.

Man United and Arsenal’s rivalry is still going strong, despite the vast gap between the two sides in the Premier League table last season.

Ruben Amorim’s side finished 32 points behind the Gunners, but did manage to secure a win against Mikel Arteta’s squad, progressing in the FA Cup at the Emirates.

Bruno Fernandes was on the scoresheet that day, doing something that one of his current teammates will envy.

Amad Diallo is desperate to score against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium

Fernandes scored his first goal at the Emirates in the January 2025 FA Cup tie, which is something Amad Diallo dreams of.

In an interview with Pro Direct Soccer on TikTok, Diallo revealed his desire to score at the Emirates Stadium.

The Ivorian was asked which stadium he’d ‘love to score in but hasn’t yet’.

“Emirates,” Diallo responded without much thought, making his quest known.

Diallo will have the chance to make his wish come true in January, as Arsenal host Man United in North London on matchday 23 of the Premier League season.

It’s not only Diallo who will be fired up for the fixture, as after Arsenal beat Man United on the opening day, Amorim’s squad will be eager to make amends in the clash between two rivals.

Mikel Arteta’s record against Manchester United at the Emirates

Diallo’s plans are clear, but they won’t be easy to achieve by any means.

That’s not only because of how intimidating Arsenal’s defence is, but also how strong Arteta’s managerial record is against Man United at home.

Arsenal’s record at home to Manchester United under Mikel Arteta.

The Spaniard has only lost one game against Man United at the Emirates since 2020, watching his side concede only five times in that period.

It won’t be easy for Diallo to get on the scoresheet at the Emirates, but the spirited wide-man will certainly try.
