Viktor Gyokeres was only signed by Arsenal last summer but it looks like the club are already hunting for a new forward.

Gyokeres has had a good season in the main for the Gunners but has found himself dropped in recent weeks in favour of Kai Havertz.

That has led to some reports suggesting Arsenal could listen to offers for Gyokeres, just a year after spending more than £60m on the former Coventry man.

Indeed, adding further fuel to the fire, it now appears Andrea Berta himself has been to watch a potential replacement.

Arsenal send Andrea Berta to watch Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen has been on the radar of a number of English clubs for some time now but is currently playing his football in Turkey with Galatasaray.

However, according to AS, Arsenal are now keen on going for Osimhen and have sent Andrea Berta out this weekend to see what the landscape is.

Osimhen has hit 20 goals in all competitions this season and despite being on big money at the Turkish giants, he knows he can earn even more in England.

Osimhen was a number one target for both Chelsea and Manchester United at one point while Arsenal have always maintained a watching brief on the Nigerian.

Any deal for Osimhen will be costly as well. Galatasaray paid over £63m to land him just last year, meaning any sale this summer is likely to be more.

Furthermore, it’s also suggested that Berta had eyes on two more players during his trip to Turkey.

Wide player Baris Yilmaz and goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir were also believed to be on Berta’s radar as he looks to add to Arsenal’s ranks for next season.

Yilmaz is being looked at as Arsenal try and address their creativity issues in wide areas.

Goalkeeper Cakir is being looked at as an understudy to David Raya, with Kepa Arrizabalaga widely expected to move on this summer.
