Arsenal are already putting plans into motion to fix the club’s medical department over the summer after injuries almost derailed their Premier League title charge.
The Gunners have been without several key players over the course of the season, with Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Magalhaes, Jurrien Timber, and William Saliba all missing key matches.

Next season, the Premier League champions will be looking to defend their crown and want to avoid another campaign filled with injury scares.
Following their Premier League title win, the Gunners are starting to fix the issue with their medical department, which caused real tension at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal ready to improve medical department
Arsenal are planning to improve their medical department this summer, given the issues they have had over recent seasons, according to David Ornstein.
Last term, injuries derailed the Gunners’ push for the title and nearly had the same fatal mistake once again.
Currently, the North London club is discussing internally how they can improve following their first league title in 22 years and medically is one of the areas they could target.
Ornstein told The Athletic Podcast: “Speaking to people at and around the club, this was their hardest season internally.
“I think there was a lot of fear and anxiety and nervousness and trepidation over whether it was going to happen again, especially when they had those blips. Mikel Arteta is intense. He demands a lot. And they will look back and reflect.

What does Mikel need to do to make the list?
“I think they are assessing how they can improve things, say medically and so on. Don’t forget when they went on a warm-weather training camp to Dubai, and Kai Havertz tore his hamstring.
“When they were really meant to be relaxing, I thought, and ended up having surgery, and was out for the rest of the season.
“That probably cost Arsenal last season. They’ve had a lot of injuries again this time around. Thankfully for them, they’ve had the depth.”
As mentioned, Arsenal’s improved depth has really helped them, but having a fully fit squad for the whole season would have made them unstoppable.
