Arsenal have a great youth academy at Hale End, but if Mikel Arteta and Edu aren’t careful, the Gunners could end up losing one of their most exciting youngsters to Chelsea or Manchester City – Ethan Nwaneri.
Just when we thought the days of losing our talented players to our rivals in the Premier League are over, a report from The Telegraph suggests one of our finest young talents, Nwaneri, is on Chelsea and City’s radar.
The pressure is on Arsenal to keep hold of him now.

Why Pele Is Overrated.
Arsenal are at ‘serious risk’ of losing Ethan Nwaneri to Chelsea or Manchester City
Young Nwaneri became a record-breaker earlier this season by becoming the youngest player to feature in a Premier League game in the history of the competition.
He is viewed by everyone at Hale End as a massive prospect, and it makes a lot of sense for him to stay at Arsenal where the manager, Arteta, believes in him enough to give him an opportunity at the highest level.
However, Nwaneri will be out of contract at the end of this season, and his enormous talent has put him on the radar of Arsenal’s big English rivals, Chelsea and Manchester City.
The report claims the Gunners are now at ‘serious’ risk of losing Nwaneri to one of those two clubs this summer, which would be a massive shame.
Arsenal, however, haven’t lost all hope yet. They still think they can tie Nwaneri down to a two-year deal until he turns 18.

The Insider’s View:
It is extremely important for Arsenal to keep hold of talented young players like Nwaneri, but the youngster needs to understand that staying is the right decision too.
There is arguably no better club in the Premier League than Arsenal for young players to develop at.
Arteta has proven this on multiple occasions over the last few years, and we are on course to become the youngest team to win the Premier League title this season.
Staying at Arsenal would be the best choice for Nwaneri, but the final decision is up to him.
