Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Jorginho, Alexander Isak and Ayden Heaven transfer.
The Premier League action returns for Arsenal over the weekend as they play host to rivals Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners will need three points to keep up the pressure on league leaders Liverpool – following their victory over Bournemouth.
Another part to keep an eye on in the background for the day is the January transfer window, which has just over 24 hours remaining.
Arsenal will be looking to complete some signings and exits before the market slams shut.
So with that said, here’s a look at the biggest news ahead of the day.
Arsenal block Jorginho transfer exit
Arsenal star Jorginho faces an uncertain future as he has only five months remaining on his contract at the club.
As of January, the midfielder can agree to a pre-contract deal with teams abroad, which could confirm his next move.
However, plenty of links have surrounded his steps after the Gunners, should he leave, not least with a possible switch in the current transfer window.

According to Globo, Arsenal have blocked a possible transfer to Brazilian outfit Flamengo before the end of the market.
It remains to be seen whether a new contract could be offered to Jorginho, though an exit seems the most likely.

Alexander Isak admission on Thierry Henry
While a deal seems unlikely for the January transfer window, Arsenal continue to be linked with a possible transfer for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.
Plenty of speculation has fed into the move, with the forward only plenty into that with his latest interview.
When asked about picking the number 14 for Newcastle, and the links to the number at Arsenal and Thierry Henry, he discussed it with the BBC.
He said: “He [Henry] was definitely one player I liked a bit extra. Many great players have had number 14. When I signed for Newcastle, out of the numbers that were available, I think 14 was the most iconic one.”

Ayden Heaven confirms transfer exit
Another Arsenal transfer exit has been confirmed as Ayden Heaven has made the switch to rivals Manchester United.
The defender has signed a long-term deal with the Red Devils, coming as a blow to the Gunners, who were looking to keep the youngster for a while longer.
Taking to social media, the 18-year-old sent out a message to Arsenal fans to say his thanks to the supporters.
