Erling Haaland has become a bit of a villain to Arsenal fans in recent months.
The rivalry between Arsenal and Manchester City has been fierce, and it is clear as day that the Gunners have got under their skin.
Following the 2-2 draw at the Etihad Stadium earlier this season, multiple Manchester City players had a pop at Arsenal for their style of play after going down to 10 men.
Haaland made the headlines for telling Arteta to ‘stay humble’ after the game in what was a needless jibe from a spoilt player towards a manager who is getting close to beating them to the title.
Since that happened, Haaland’s form has taken a turn for the worse, and that disappointment continued against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Manchester City suffered a 4-1 defeat in Portugal and Haaland missed a penalty. Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing to him now.

Haaland was very wrong to have a go at Arteta after the game at the Etihad – the Arsenal manager did absolutely nothing to him.
Football, as we know, is a funny game, and after Haaland told Arteta to be humble, he is the one being humbled now.
One Arsenal fan tweeted: “Haaland has been staying too humble for a while now, so much that he even missed a penalty.”
Another wrote: “Haaland has turned into Timo Werner since telling Arteta to stay humble.”
“Haaland told Mikel to stay humble and now he can’t score even a penalty. Disrespect Mikel at your own expense,” said another.
Another Gooner wrote: “Haaland hasn’t been the same since the day he disrespected Mikel Arteta. Guess who is staying humble now?”

Haaland had a great start to the season.
The former Dortmund man scored 10 goals in his first five Premier League games of the season, which is a stunning record.
However, since he told Arteta to stay humble, his record in the league has been terrible – just one goal in five games. Even that goal came against relegation-threatened Southampton.
Haaland has not looked like the same player since his comments to Arteta, and we’re sure Arsenal fans will continue to remind him to stay humble every time he has a bad game.
That should teach him a lesson or two going forward.
