Karl Hein has earned a lot of admirers following his performance for Arsenal against Bournemouth in Los Angeles.

The Gunners kicked off their pre-season tour in the United States in the early hours of Thursday.

Mikel Arteta’s side were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth, who were arguably the better side in the second half of the game. The Cherries definitely had the better chances.

However, Arsenal have something to be happy about as they won the penalty shootout, which was scheduled to take place irrespective of the result.

Hein was a star for Arsenal in the shootout again, and the Estonian was also terrific in normal time. He denied Dominic Solanke with a sensational save before pulling off another fine stop to prevent Dango Ouattara.

Arsenal fans are in love with Hein following his display, and many of them have made a key point about him on social media.

Hein was undoubtedly the star of the show for Arsenal in their game against Bournemouth. The Estonian was absolutely incredible, and he should be really happy with his display.

Arsenal fans are beyond delighted, so much so that they think Hein is better than Aaron Ramsdale and should replace him in the side.

One Arsenal fan tweeted: “Arsenal upgraded on Ramsdale with Hein!”

“Why does Arteta want to sign another goalkeeper when we have Karl Hein? He can properly deputize for David Raya when Ramsdale leaves,” said another fan.

Another Gooner wrote: “Hein with 2 penalty saves, Ramsdale ain’t wearing the jersey again!”

“This Hein boy is clearly better than Ramsdale. CLEARLY,” said another Arsenal supporter.

One fan said: “Karl Hein is a good keeper. In fact, we can now sell Ramsdale!”

Arsenal should change their plan for Hein

Hein had just a few days left on his Arsenal contract before it was extended.

The Gunners were desperate to keep hold of him in the summer even though they had Ramsdale and Raya at their disposal.

Arsenal’s plan after extending Hein’s contract was to send him out on loan for this season. However, we think they should change their mind.

If Ramsdale does leave the club this summer, Hein is more than capable of being the number two behind Raya. He will definitely improve if he trains with the Spaniard every day.

Arsenal take on Manchester United and Liverpool in their next two games. If Hein starts and can produce similar performances, we think Arsenal will definitely make him the club’s number two when Ramsdale leaves.
