Arsenal star Martin Zubimendi was one of the stars of the show as Spain beat Georgia.
The Spaniard has been incredible for the Gunners since he joined them from Real Sociedad in the summer, and his performances have been just as good for his country as well.
On Saturday, Zubimendi started for La Roja against Georgia in Tbilisi, and he scored the second goal in their 4-0 win.
It was a fantastic finish by the Arsenal man, and his overall performance was excellent as well. Spanish media have even claimed that Zubimendi has brilliantly filled Rodri’s shoes in his absence, which is big praise.
Arsenal supporters who watched the game are all very impressed too, not just with his goal and brilliance on the ball, but also with how he got the better of PSG’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Arsenal fans react after Martin Zubimendi embarrassed Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
In the 13th minute of the game, Kvaratskhelia got on the ball on the left wing and threatened to drive forward.
Martin Zubimendi was well behind the Georgian when he received possession, but he still managed to overtake him, recover the ball and pass it to a teammate without breaking a sweat.
He made it look so easy, and Arsenal fans are amazed by his action.
One Arsenal fan tweeted: “Signing of the summer!”
Another wrote: “Zubimendi is actually a baller. His low centre of gravity allows him to win duels easily. Reminds me of N’Golo Kante.”
“I will happily admit we would’ve been so finished if we had let Liverpool get this guy,” said another.
Another Gooner tweeted: “Zubimendi!! Kvaratskhelia, you better get used to this, pal. I really hope we play PSG again in the Champions League.”
“Bro bosses him takes the ball and gives out a pass,” posted another.
Martin Zubimendi’s stats vs Georgia are so impressive
A number of Spain’s players caught the eye against Georgia on Saturday, and Zubimendi was one of them.
The Arsenal star had 97 touches of the ball and completed 83 of his 89 attempted passes, maintaining an excellent 93 per cent passing accuracy.
Apart from scoring a lovely goal, Zubimendi made four ball recoveries, a tackle and an interception, and he also won 100 per cent of his aerial duels. (Sofascore)
Arsenal have a big week coming up, with games against Tottenham, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea in the space of seven days.
If Zubimendi plays at his best level in all of those fixtures, the Gunners will come out of it very happy.
