Arsenal fans’ new chant for manager Mikel Arteta has gone viral on TikTok after their 1-0 win over Manchester City put the Gunners joint-top of the Premier League table.
The TikTok user known as ‘mcsj.14’ shared the post after the Emirates Stadium fixture as the Gunners celebrated their win. Arsenal moved level with north London rivals Tottenham atop the table after edging Manchester City 1-0. Just goals scored now separates the fierce rivals.
Arsenal and Spurs have a two-point lead on the defending champions through the first eight games of the season. Both clubs have recorded six wins and two draws as the only unbeaten teams left in the Premier League. But Tottenham have scored 18 goals to the Gunners on 16.

Gabriel Martinelli scored Arsenal’s sole effort to pip Manchester City at Emirates Stadium on Sunday. Nathan Ake inadvertently sent the Brazilian’s 83rd-minute attempt into his own net as the ball hit the defender in the face. It was Arsenal’s first league win over City since 2015.
Arsenal fans are now in very high spirits as they pursue their first Premier League title since the 2003/04 Invincibles. Supporters have not forgotten the role Arteta has played in guiding them into the race, either, and debuted a new chant after last month’s north London derby.
Tottenham held Arsenal to a 2-2 draw at Emirates Stadium but fans remained in high spirits as they unveiled a new chant for Arteta. Gunners supporter known as ‘ZCoffer14’ first took to X, formerly called Twitter, to share a video of their latest song for their Spanish tactician.

Arsenal fans’ new chant for Arteta is also only the latest new chant that they have unveiled in recent weeks. Supporters also debuted a Shakira-inspired chant for Kai Havertz after the German scored at AFC Bournemouth. It was his first goal since joining the club this summer.
