Arsenal star Thomas Partey limped off with an injury on Tuesday as we dispatched Southampton 3-1. The Ghanaian has made a huge difference since his return from injury, and Mikel Arteta, like all of us, would’ve been worried.
Thankfully, it looks like it’s not a big issue. Goal claim today that Partey has recovered from his injury, and he will be given the green light to play on Saturday after one final fitness check at London Colney sometime today.
That is a huge boost for us. Partey is one of our most important players. His presence in the middle of the park provides some much-needed protection to our defence, while also aiding the side offensively by getting out of tight spaces and progressing the ball further up the pitch.

Partey’s assist to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in our league game against Newcastle United earlier this month showed exactly what he is all about, and Arteta will be delighted that he will be fit for the game tomorrow.
Arsenal host Manchester United in what could be a season-defining game for us. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have been labelled as title contenders by many after their incredible unbeaten run in the Premier League following their defeat to us at Old Trafford.
That run came to an end on Wednesday as bottom-placed Sheffield United picked up an impressive win over them, but they still are a very dangerous side, and we should be at our absolute best to get another three points.

Partey’s presence will help us massively. He was arguably our best player against United at Old Trafford, and if he can replicate a similar performance tomorrow, we will be the favourites to get another win.
Arsenal fans are delighted with the update about Partey.
