Arsenal fans send strong Bukayo Saka message to Mikel Arteta after seeing what Phil Foden has done

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is currently away on international duty with England.

The Gunners number seven is one of the best players in the world. He has been incredible for club and country over the years, and he will only get better in the coming seasons.

Saka is one of the first names on the team sheet for both Arsenal and England. He plays a ton of games every season, and that definitely takes its toll and also increases the risk of injuries.

Arsenal fans don’t even want to imagine a scenario in which Saka is injured, so everyone has been hoping that he will come away unscathed from this international break.

However, after seeing what Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Manchester City star Phil Foden have done, Gooners have sent a strong message to Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal fans want Mikel Arteta to pull Bukayo Saka out of England duty

Palmer, Foden and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins have all withdrawn from England duty for their upcoming friendlies against Ireland and Finland.

Watkins and Palmer have returned to their respective clubs for rehabilitation on ongoing issues, while Foden didn’t even report to the national camp due to illness (Sky Sports).

Arsenal fans are now demanding that Arteta pulls Saka and Declan Rice out of the England squad too so that they can get some rest ahead of what is a very busy schedule.

One Arsenal fan tweeted: “Get Saka and Rice back ASAP!”

Another wrote: “Just withdraw Saka and Rice as well then from this waste of an international break.”

“Withdraw Saka and Rice right now,” demanded another supporter.

Another Gooner posted: “Respectfully, Rice and Saka shouldn’t be in that camp!”

“Arsenal, withdraw Saka and Declan Rice this very minute,” tweeted another Arsenal fan.

Arsenal’s nightmare run of games after the international break

Arsenal’s fixture list right after the international break looks scary.

The Gunners have been scheduled to play three consecutive away games against Tottenham Hotspur, Atalanta and Manchester City.

Then, Arteta’s men take on Bolton in the League Cup before games against Leicester City and Paris Saint Germain in the following days.

To put that into perspective, Arsenal will play six games in the space of 16 days, which is just crazy.

They need to have Saka, Rice and the others fully fit for this period, so Arsenal fans’ demand to get them out of the England camp is justified.

However, we just can’t see that happening now.
