Arsenal recorded a 3-1 victory over Burnley, which saw a number of players deliver impressive performances.

Leandro Trossard led the line superbly, and nodded home for the first goal of the game just before half time, before William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko secured the win after Josh Brownhill equalised in the second half.

Zinchenko was particularly impressive even beyond his stunning strike, as he delivered what was perhaps his best performance of the season, as an inverted left-back.

There was one moment in the first half which really caught the eye, as Zinchenko produced a sublime bit of skill to pass to Bukayo Saka and help create an opening, and both the fans in the Emirates and fans on Twitter were left in awe at what he did.

Fans amazed by Zinchenko moment

Zinchenko picked up the ball on the right-hand side in the box, and with Burnley defenders surrounding him, he produced an incredible drag back and reverse pass to find Saka in space, whose cross could not find an Arsenal player to finish.

“Oleksandr Zinchenko, that was a NASTY bit of skill,” one fan tweeted.

“So close from Arsenal again Zinchenko that skill was amazing,” one highlighted, as Arsenal were knocking on the door with the scores level.

“Today he has been EXCEPTIONAL. Beautiful shot and lovely skill earlier on the pass in the box,” a fan stated, praising his overall display.

One fan highlighted how Zinchenko’s skill was so good, that it deserved a goal from Kai Havertz at the end of it.

“Unreal piece of skill there by Zinchenko but Havertz is too lax. Should have powered that into the net.”

“What a goal that would’ve been, lovely bit of skill from Zinny!”

Mikel Arteta will have been delighted that Zinchenko looked back to his best, and he took his goal exceptionally well. With Takehiro Tomiyasu also in strong form, Arsenal’s options at fullback are currently very strong, but there have still been transfer links with Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey.
