Arsenal handed difficult start to Premier League title defence as 2026/27 fixtures are released

Arsenal’s full fixture list for the 2026/27 Premier League season has been confirmed.

The defending champions face a tricky opening run of games.

The Gunners begin their campaign on Friday 21 August against newly promoted Coventry City at the Emirates, just five days after facing Manchester City in the Community Shield at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

From there, the schedule doesn’t let up. Arsenal travel to Aston Villa the following week before hosting Chelsea.

The first North London derby of the season arrives the week of 5 December, away at Tottenham, before the reverse fixture on 1 May.

To conclude their campaign, Arsenal will play Brighton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday 30 May.
