Arsenal’s interest in Wolves winger Pedro Neto has been described as ‘genuine’ now.
We’re five days into the January transfer window and there is no movement at Arsenal yet. We’d love a new player or two this month, and Neto is definitely someone who will raise the excitement level at the Emirates.

Arsenal have ‘actual genuine interest’ in Pedro Neto
Despite our recent struggles, Arsenal have a solid front three in Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.
The three attackers were so good for us last season and were among the biggest reasons why we were in the race to win the Premier League title.
Mikel Arteta brought in Leandro Trossard last year, and the Belgian provides cover to both Martinelli and Jesus in attack. He can play on the right too, but it’s just not the same, is it?
Arsenal could do with a left-footed right-winger to compete with and cover for Saka, and Wolves star Pedro Neto, who has been linked with a move to the Emirates in the past, would be a fantastic option for us.
Now, Dean Jones has claimed that Arsenal’s interest is genuine, but Wolves want to keep hold of their star players in this window.
He said on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast: “There are also new rumours coming around about Arsenal’s interest in Pedro Neto and I think that is actual genuine interest still.
“So while Wolves want to build for the future, they’re still trying to protect assets like Neto and probably Cunha too.”

Thierry Henry has already raved about Neto
Thierry Henry is one of the greatest attackers the Premier League has ever seen.
The legendary Frenchman knows a thing or two about taking players on and causing serious damage to the opposition in the final third, and he thinks Arsenal target Pedro Neto has that ability.
He said back in 2021: “I like him a lot. Especially the situation that he found himself in with [Raul] Jimenez being injured and Diogo Jota now playing for the other side tonight.
“It’s not easy to have everything on your shoulders. What I like is he’s not scared to beat people on the outside. I like it. He can cross with his right, finish with his left.
“He’s always looking to have a go and attack the defender – always on the front foot. It’s not easy to do this at such a young age, in a team where you’re not often in possession and dominating games. I think he’s performed extremely well.”
