Arsenal have been one of the best teams in the Premier League for over three years now.
The Gunners have challenged for the title in each campaign since 2022/23, and one of their biggest strengths has been their defence.
William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have been rock solid at the back, and the likes of Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie have done a great job as well.
Following the win against Brentford on Wednesday, Arsenal have entered their name into the history books.

Arsenal break Manchester United’s all-time Premier League record
Manchester United hold many great records in the Premier League.
The Red Devils are the most successful team in the competition’s history, and although Sir Alex Ferguson’s teams were the great ones, another manager set a brilliant record at Old Trafford.
Between 2016 and 2018, when Jose Mourinho was at the helm, Manchester United went 107 games in all competitions without conceding three or more goals in a single fixture.
No other Premier League team in history had gone such a long time without letting in three, but Arsenal have broken that record now.
The win against Brentford on Wednesday night was the Gunners’ 108th consecutive game in all competitions in which they conceded fewer than three goals.
The last time a club scored three past Mikel Arteta’s side was Luton Town all the way back in December 2023.
How long can Arsenal keep this streak going?
Arsenal have the best defence in Europe in 2025/26
Arsenal have had the best defence in the Premier League in each of the last two seasons, and they have gone up a level now.
The Gunners have conceded just seven goals and kept eight clean sheets in the league so far, which is truly incredible considering that they have played 14 games so far.
That’s not just the best defensive record in the English top-flight, it’s the best in Europe’s top-five leagues as well.
Is Arsenal’s current defence the best in their entire 139-year history? If not, which one is?
7 goals conceded, 8 clean sheets! Have you ever seen a better defence?
This Arsenal defence has got to be up there with the best in the club’s history.
The record for the fewest goals conceded by the Gunners in a single Premier League season stands at 17. That came in the 1998/99 season, when Arsene Wenger was still at the helm.
If Saliba, Gabriel and co let in fewer this term and help Arsenal win the title, nobody will be able to dispute that they are the best ever.
