It’s been ten years since Thierry Henry called it a day on his playing career, which was filled with plenty of huge achievements.
Many of those came at Arsenal, where the forward cemented himself as one of the most feared players in the whole world.
Thierry Henry joined the Gunners in 1999, moving from Juventus in a deal that would shake up the whole future of the club.
The Frenchman spent eight years with the club over two stints, winning four trophies including two Premier League titles and two FA Cups.
While Henry has gone down as one of the best players of his generation, there have been some questions over his managerial career since retiring.

Thierry Henry discusses managerial return
Since retiring from his playing career, Henry has stepped into a few management positions in the hope of finding some success.
The Arsenal legend has been in four different positions in management, mixing up some youth roles with senior positions.
The most recent stint came with the French Olympics side, where they finished second behind Spain and took home a silver medal,
With that short-term role now over, Henry was quizzed over whether he could return to management in a full-time capacity soon.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, he said: “I don’t have a problem with testing myself at club level.
“It would have to be something that’s gonna be right, which before like I said to you, I was looking to tick the… I knew I could, but can I? So it’s a bit different now, I’m gonna have to assess the situation and see what it’s gonna be and where it’s going to be because you need to understand something…
“You know how tough it is for a coach, people don’t take that into consideration, how tough it is on your family, how tough it is moving your kids somewhere and then you get the sack.
“Then you go home. Then people don’t care about what’s happening to you and your family because not often people do care about the coach…
“But no I’m open to anything, anything and everything but it will have to be something that makes sense so for me and my family and it’s very important.”

Thierry Henry’s managerial career to date
Since stepping away from playing and into managing, there has been a real mix of positions for Henry without much long-term for him.
It remains to be seen where could be next for the former forward, but there could be a big change in career prospects with the next move.
| Team | Date spent |
| AS Monaco | 2018-2019 |
| Montreal Impact | 2019-2021 |
| France U21s | 2023-2024 |
| France Olympics side | 2024 |
There have been plenty of home comforts in those jobs, so whether a move to England or even Arsenal, in the future is unclear.
Though nothing is out of the question for an ex-player who is still learning his trade in coaching and is looking for a new challenge.
