All the latest Arsenal injury news as the Gunners look to continue mounting a Premier League title charge.
Arsenal continued their push for the Premier League title as they completed a demolition of London rivals West Ham at the London Stadium. The Gunners had historically struggled against the Hammers in the last few previous meetings.
This time was different for Mikel Arteta though, as William Saliba gave his side the lead with a header from a corner. The floodgates opened shortly after as Bukayo Saka scored from the penalty spot, Gabriel Magalhaes glanced his effort into the back of the net and Leandro Trossard curled a shot beyond the goalkeeper to take a four-goal lead into the break.
It was a convincing performance that only continued into the second half as Saka added another to the scoresheet. Shortly after, Declan Rice got in on the act with a strike from distance against his former club to round off the goals.

It’s a victory that keeps the north London outfit firmly in the title race, while giving them a major boost on goal difference. One of the only problems they could have faced are some injury concerns from before the match, which are starting to mount up.
With fewer options at his disposal, Arteta may be glad that his team wrapped up the victory in the way they required. So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal injury news and possible return dates after the West Ham victory.
Arsenal injury list
Arsenal’s injuries are starting to stack up as they faced West Ham with seven absences from the squad in total. Thomas Partey, Jurrien Timber and Fabio Vieira have been long-term concerns when it comes to the injury front.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus were missing after recent issues, while Takehiro Tomiyasu and Emile Smith Rowe were also unable to play a part. It leaves Arteta with a growing list of absences ahead of a busy few weeks.

Takehiro Tomiyasu injury latest
Takehiro Tomiyasu was expected to make his return to action for Arsenal, following his recent return from the Asian Cup. However, the Japan international didn’t feature in the squad, with Arteta later revealing there was a slight issue.
The manager told the press, via Football London: “Yeah he [Tomiyasu] had a niggle when he came with the national team. It was not the moment to risk him after how many minutes he’s played.”
Expected return date: Burnley (A) – February 17.
Gabriel Jesus injury latest
Gabriel Jesus has struggled with a slight knock to his knee that saw a return against Nottingham Forest, but missing from the Liverpool and West Ham matches. The striker was claimed to have suffered from fluid in his knee, but it was expected to be a matter of days before a return.
Expected return date: Burnley (A) – February 17.

Oleksandr Zinchenko injury latest
Injuries have been a continuous problem for Oleksandr Zinchenko since joining Arsenal, with the latest concern coming during the Liverpool game. The left-back had to be substituted with a calf issue, which then kept him out of the West Ham clash.
It currently remains to be seen when the Ukraine international will be fit enough to return to the squad.
Expected return date: Unknown.
Emile Smith Rowe injury latest
Emile Smith Rowe was a surprise exclusion from the Arsenal squad when the team was announced before the West Ham game. On the injury, Arteta said, via the official club social media: “Emile turned his ankle in training so he’s not fit to play.”
Expected return date: Unknown.

Thomas Partey injury latest
Thomas Partey has missed the majority of the season through a thigh injury. The midfielder underwent a procedure for it and was expected to return in January, but a setback means that he is still yet to feature since.
Expected return date: Unknown.
Jurrien Timber injury latest
Summer signing Jurrien Timber was handed a major blow early into his Arsenal career after picking up an anterior cruciate ligament injury on his Premier League debut. The defender has been stepping up his recovery and with his name included on the squad list for the next round of the Champions League, there’s hope he could be back soon.
Expected return date: FC Porto (H) – March 12.

Fabio Vieira injury latest
