Arsenal’s transfer operations are ramping up this summer and they are now turning their attentions to a potential deal with Real Madrid.

With most eyes at the club on who they can sign to improve things down the left side, the Gunners are also in the market for any other players they feel can help them improve.

Of course, anyone currently at Real Madrid is worth a look at and it seems Arsenal are doing just that.

And according to reports, it is young midfielder Nico Paz who is once again on Arsenal’s radar.

Arsenal make enquiry about Nico Paz ahead of Jose Mourinho’s Madrid return

Arsenal have a number of players on their radar this summer and while some positions are seen as more important than others, the club are always open to deals across the pitch.

Nico Paz is a player Arsenal have watched a lot and after his impressive season with FC Como and Cesc Fabregas last season, he returns to Real Madrid this summer.

However, the respected Arsenal insider account HandOfArsenal has claimed that Paz has been left confused after a call with returning Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho.

Alongside that, they claim that Arsenal have made what they refer to as ‘standard checks’ on Paz.

It’s suggested that while nothing is advanced, Andrea Berta is keeping many cogs ticking along in the background.

It is a known tactic of Berta to effectively get agreements done on personal terms with players before then deciding if the deal is doable between the clubs.

Paz, then, is just one of a number of names Berta has his eye on.
