Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Marcus Rashford, Alexander Isak and Manchester United team news.

Arsenal are back in FA Cup action this weekend as they play host to Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta will look to progress beyond the current holders of the trophy, with silverware still demanded from the manager.

Elsewhere, the transfer window is close to entering its second week and so far, the Gunners are yet to make any major incoming or outgoings.

Arsenal have been linked with some potential signings, while some players are facing an uncertain future and could leave this month.

So with that said, here’s a look at the biggest Arsenal stories ahead of another busy day.

Arsenal make Marcus Rashford transfer contact

Arsenal have been linked with a potential move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford over the January transfer window.

The England international is facing a potential exit from the Red Devils over the coming month, following difficulties at the club.

Ruben Amorim has left Rashford out of his squad due to a mixture of selection decisions and illness in the past few weeks.

With talks ramping up over a possible switch, Sky Italia journalist Massimo Marianella (via Spazioj), Arsenal have held a phone call with Rashford over a switch.

It’s unclear whether that could follow into a possible move or not, but there are a few big weeks ahead.

Alexander Isak to Arsenal transfer update

Alexander Isak has been a transfer target for some time at Arsenal, with the striker showing some impressive form at Real Sociedad before joining Newcastle.

The Magpies punished indecisiveness from the Gunners by landing the forward, who is now showing how good he truly is.

While the centre-forward may be an ideal option to fill the gaps up front, it’s a move that is seeming increasingly unlikely.

Any move is likely to breach the £100million mark, with a potential record transfer fee needed to land Isak.

With that in mind, Daily Mail reports that Arsenal won’t be able to pay the fee that Newcastle are set to demand for the striker.

It remains to be seen if that will change in the weeks and months ahead, with potential transfer exits on the cards.

Ruben Amorim drops Arsenal team news hint

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has dropped an early hint over his team news heading into the clash with Arsenal in the FA Cup over the weekend.

Both teams will be looking to knock each other out of the competition to boost their chances of lifting the trophy this season.

How strong each team will go is unclear, but Amorim has revealed one key decision for his team already ahead of the match.

When discussing his goalkeeper choice, he said: “He is going to play, Altay [Bayandir]. He is going to play.”

It means first-choice goalkeeper Andre Onana will be rested and could hand an opportunity to the Gunners.
