Arsenal are reportedly ready to promote 16-year-old Hale End wonderkid Chidozie Obi-Martin after a breakout season for the teenager.
The Danish youth international has enjoyed a meteoric rise at academy level this campaign, with Obi-Martin earning headlines across the world after scoring ten goals in a 14-3 win against Liverpool.
Continuing to impress at youth level, big things are expected of Obi-Martin in the years to come, with the youngster potentially first-team material under Mikel Arteta.
Chidozie Obi-Martin set for Arsenal youth promotion

And according to journalist Jeorge Bird, Obi-Martin is for youth promotion at Arsenal, with the forward potentially set to feature for the U-21s in the coming weeks.
With an impressive record in the U-18 Premier League it makes sense why Arsenal will now look to promote Obi-Martin, who clearly has the potential to become a real superstar.
Indeed, Arsenal’s academy has been productive in recent years after the production of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah, with Reiss Nelson also part of the senior squad.
And with Obi-Martin now set for internal progression, it might be long before we see the Danish wonderkid alongside the likes of Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly for the first team.
Arsenal could have another golden generation on their hands

Arsenal’s academy is churning out wonderkids seemingly on a weekly basis, with a new prospect seemingly popping up every time an academy game takes place.
And there’s a real chance that Arsenal could be about to experience another golden generation from the academy to follow the likes of Saka and Smith Rowe into the first team.
With Obi-Martin now set to take the next step in his development, it’s an exciting time to be an Arsenal fan with an eye on the future, with big things expected to happen soon.
