Rice is already under contract at The Emirates until 2028 but having established himself as the top midfielder at the club, Andrea Berta and Mikel Arteta are keen to commit to Rice further.
Now, according to reports, it looks like Rice is ready to commit the rest of his career to Arsenal.

According to TeamTalk, Arsenal and Berta have already ‘touched base’ with Rice’s camp over a potential new contract and the initial response has been positive.
Berta is believed to be ready to offer Rice a new five-year contract in return for the England man effectively committing the rest of his career and prime to the club.
Rice is excited for the future under Mikel Arteta and sees no reason to try and move on.
With that in mind, Arsenal are expecting talks to be nothing but a formality and Rice is fully expected to extend his stay in North London.
