It’s only taken a few days but the World Cup is already unearthing new stars to the world and Arsenal are looking to act quickly to secure one of them.
The Gunners have an eye on this summer’s tournament as they look to strengthen the squad further and provide Mikel Arteta with the tools needed to mount a title defence and go one better in Europe.
A number of high profile names are already being linked with the club and the focus has been on signing a quality winger.
However, after midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi starred for Morocco last night, Arsenal have made their move.

Arsenal hold talks with representatives of Ayyoub Bouaddi
Anyone who witnessed the performance by Bouaddi against Brazil this weekend will instantly realise this is a man who looks special.
At just 18, Bouaddi cruised through the game against the five-time World Cup winners and bossed things.
Now, according to The Times, Arsenal have made their move and Andrea Berta has held direct talks with Bouaddi’s reps over how a deal would look.
While no official bid has gone into Lille just yet, it’s believed Arsenal are ready to splash out on the teenager.

Lille value Bouaddi at around the £60m mark but after seeing him perform so well against Brazil, clubs know that value might end up skyrocketing.
Bouaddi himself is believed to be open to joining Arsenal after being told he would be part of the first-team picture with immediate effect.
With PSG also keen, the Gunners now face a race against time to get their man.
On first glance at this summer’s World Cup, it appears Bouaddi is going to be one of the names on everyone’s lips.
