Arsenal are ‘very keen’ on RB Leipzig captain Marcel Sabitzer, according to French journalist Julien Laurens.
The Gunners are being linked with several names at the moment amid their creativity struggles.
Goalscoring has been a real issue this season, and that has been put down to a lack of a creative influence in midfield.

Speaking on his podcast with Gabriele Marcotti, Laurens said: “There is another club [interested in Sabitzer], I think Arsenal are very keen as well. I think there’s a few English clubs [interested].
“He would be a great signing, potentially quite cheap as well for the kind of player that you’re getting. It’s a no-brainer.”
Sabitzer’s stock has soared in recent times having impressed in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
He is seen as the man that makes the German outfit tick.
In 204 appearances for the club, he has 46 goals and 38 assists and his productivity has also reportedly alerted Tottenham Hotspur.
Sabtizer could be brilliant addition
Spurs seem to be in pole position for Sabitzer, who is valued at around £45 million by Leipzig (via Metro), but Arsenal should definitely look to make a fight of it.

The 44-cap Austrian is a highly intelligent playmaker and shouldn’t be too expensive.
It’s likely he’d made a real difference for the Gunners operating in between the lines and supplying the forwards.
