Arsenal travel to the King Power Stadium on Saturday as they take on Leicester City in Premier League action.
The Gunners will be looking to make a dent into Liverpool’s lead at the top, following their draw in a game in hand against Everton.
Elsewhere, worrying injury news has rocked Mikel Arteta and his team, with solutions needed to fill the gaps in the forward line.
So with that said, here’s a look at the biggest Arsenal stories ahead of the day.
Arsenal reveal Kai Havertz injury update
Reports circulated surrounding the injury status of Kai Havertz, claiming that the Arsenal forward was set to miss the remainder of the season through a hamstring injury.
It has since been confirmed by the club themselves, with the official website releasing a statement on the situation.
It read: “We can confirm that Kai Havertz has sustained a hamstring injury during a training session in Dubai last week.

“Subsequent assessments and specialist reviews have confirmed that the injury will require surgery, which will take place in the coming days. Soon after surgery, Kai will begin his recovery and rehabilitation programme, which is expected to extend into pre-season preparations for next season.
“Everyone at the club is fully focused on supporting Kai to ensure he is back to full fitness as soon as possible.”
It means that a return isn’t expected until late July or early August, when pre-season preparations are just starting to ramp up.

Arsenal eye Ayden Heaven replacement
Arsenal were handed a blow in the January transfer window as young defender Ayden Heaven left the club.
He went on to join Manchester United, snubbing a new deal with the Gunners and joining their rivals on a long-term deal.
With replacement defenders for the Arsenal academy being eyed, the Daily Mail reports that Stoke City defender Jaden Dixon is in the mix.

The 17-year-old has already been handed a few senior appearances by the Potters as he looks to gain regular minutes.

Benjamin Sesko to Arsenal transfer twist
Arsenal have missed out on a deal to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko over the past two transfer windows, despite efforts to land him.
Focus now turns to the summer market, where there appears a greater chance of landing the forward from the Bundesliga outfit.
However, according to BILD, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea are all showing interest in the striker.

On top of that, the previous €70million claim could reach up to €100million if a “bidding war” is opened up.
