Arsenal are set for a big summer in the transfer market and there could well be some big outgoings as well as incomings.

The Gunners want to sign a new wide player, a full-back, and potentially another forward if the right person comes along.

For now, though, Andrea Berta and Mikel Arteta need to concentrate on getting their list of targets together and at the same time, working out who could be sold to help raise funds.

One of the potential departures being touted is Gabriel Martinelli.

And according to reports from Italy, there is interest from two of Serie A’s biggest teams.

Roma and Juventus make enquiries about Gabriel Martinelli

With the idea of signing a new player for the left-hand side, it’s little wonder that Martinelli is being tipped as a potential outgoing.

Arsenal paid just £6m to sign the Brazilian and he’s become a key cog in the squad under Mikel Arteta.

Martinelli found his starting spot often taken by Leandro Trossard and with a new signing potentially coming in too, he could be moved on.

Now, Italian journalist Daniele Trecca has reported on X that both Roma and Juventus have made calls to Arsenal about Martinelli.

As we can see in the post from Trecca, the Gunners have quoted the Italian pair around £40m to even consider selling their man.

Any sale of Martinelli is likely to bring funds that are reinvested directly into the first-team.

As it stands, the likes of Bradley Barcola and Julian Alvarez are being heavily linked with a move to The Emirates.

Both players will cost significantly more than any money Martinelli will bring in. But for now, most Arsenal fans would probably take a Martinelli sale if it means either of those two arrive.
