Brazilian icon Neymar has reached out to Gabriel Jesus after footage of the Arsenal striker in training was released by the club.
Gabriel Jesus is currently hard at work in pre-season training with Arsenal in the US, and looks to be fit and firing on all cylinders.
The Brazilian will be desperate to get back to his best in the upcoming campaign, after enduring a tough time out last time around.
Last season, the former Manchester City man only netted four Premier League goals for the Gunners, and once again struggled to maintain his fitness. Ultimately, he fell behind Kai Havertz in the pecking order, and now his place in Mikel Arteta’s plans is unclear.
At one stage, Arsenal were said to be open to offers for Jesus this summer. It is certainly the case that the Gunners are on the hunt for another striker.
A club in Saudi Arabia have shown interest in signing Jesus, but as things stand no formal offer for the 27-year-old has arrived.
Jesus has also held talks with Arteta and Edu, convincing them that he can still play an important role for the North London club.

Jesus is clearly keen to prove his worth, and has made a bright start to pre-season.
Arsenal recently posted footage of the striker in training to Instagram. In the clip, Jesus can be seen finishing neatly in a number of one-on-one situations up against the goalkeeper.
Even Neymar was impressed, as he replied to the post with two fire emojis.
If Jesus can put his injury woes behind him and get back to his best, then he can still be a key player for the Gunners. However, there is certainly pressure on him to become more prolific. If he could add regular goalscoring to his game then he would take Arsenal to the next level.
