An Arsenal star was seen confronting Richarlison yesterday at full-time after Tottenham’s 3-2 loss in the north London derby.

The Brazilian international is regarded as one of the Premier League’s biggest wind-up merchants, with Richarlison always making it a mission since joining Tottenham to rattle Arsenal players and to get them to react.

With the attacker failing to do anything yesterday, it’s safe to say that the tactic failed for the Tottenham striker as Arsenal went on to secure a huge three points in the north London derby, boosting their Premier League title chances as Spurs lose more ground in the race for top-four.

Yet at full-time, Richarlison was seen yet again trying to wind up one Arsenal player.

Richarlison seen confronting Gabriel Magalhaes at full-time

In a video posted to Twitter by journalist Chris Wheatley, Richarlison was seen squaring up to Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes, with the pair having to be separated as the Gunners went over to celebrate with the away fans.

With the two coming together in the second-half, it’s no real surprise that Richarlison couldn’t resist one last dig at Gabriel, even with the Arsenal defender coming away with the win and the Man of the Match award.

Indeed, the video will be viewed by Arsenal fans as neutrals as another example of Richarlison trying to get the last laugh, even when the Brazilian international has already embarrassed himself by being on the losing side with Tottenham.

With Arsenal going for the title and Spurs likely to miss out on UEFA Champions League qualification, Gabriel will have plenty of reasons to laugh, especially after Richarlison’s attempt to wind up the defender.

Arsenal fans will be pleased with Gabriel’s performance vs Tottenham

Winning Man of the Match from the Premier League and surviving a late Tottenham onslaught, there was a lot to love about Gabriel’s performance for Arsenal this weekend in north London.

The 26-year-old defender has a real claim for being the current best centre-back in the Premier League having again taken his game to new heights alongside William Saliba, who this season has stayed completely fit.

And Arsenal supporters will love how Gabriel conducted himself against Tottenham, with the Brazilian international showing just how deep some players are willing to dig to get all three points with the title on the line.
