Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is now one of the best wingers in the world, and is a true inspiration for other Hale End Academy talents.
Saka came up through the ranks having joined Arsenal at a young age, and has developed into one of the most important players at the club.
The 23-year-old made his breakthrough into the team after impressing at youth level, and stood out amongst his peers. Whilst fellow Hale End graduates Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah are no longer at the club, Saka is Arsenal’s talisman under Mikel Arteta.
The England star is inspiring the next generation of Hale End talents, with the likes of Ethan Nwaneri now impressing, and one starlet has revealed an incredible interaction he had with Saka.

Samuel Onyekachukwu reveals Bukayo Saka interaction in Arsenal Academy
Young centre-back Samuel Onyekachukwu is an emerging talent in the Hale End Academy, and the 16-year-old has now told club media about a funny interaction he had with Saka.
“There was this funny moment when I was in the ice bath and Saka walked in. He joked that I needed to get my whole body in, and we ended up doing the ice bath together for about 10 minutes,” he revealed.
“He told me how he used to be nervous and shy when he first arrived, but he encouraged me to be confident and believe in myself, which meant a lot to me.”
Samuel Onyekachukwu recently trained with the Arsenal first team
Onyekachukwu recently trained with the first-team, with Saka clearly helping him settle into the high-pressured environment, and the teenager has admitted his delight at his progress.
“Moving to the Sobha Realty Training Centre has been amazing. It’s a much more professional environment than Hale End, and it’s humbling to see how the hard work is paying off,” he stated after recently training with the first-team squad.
“I’ve even had the chance to train with the first team, which was an unreal experience. Walking onto the pitch and seeing Saliba, Saka, and Odegaard playing around—my heart was pounding. The tempo was so quick, and you have to think fast to keep up.
Saka is now a superstar rather than a youngster, and he will serve as inspiration for any Arsenal starlet hoping to follow in his footsteps in succeeding at the club.
